I'm Suleiman Yusuf, a self-driven software engineer from Katsina, Nigeria. I created YS DEV as a brand for building real-world digital products — systems that are fast, scalable, and offline-capable.

My work spans the full spectrum: from SaaS POS systems for supermarkets, to fintech platforms with wallet and VTU services, to AI-powered image recognition with TensorFlow and C++. I don't just write code — I architect systems that solve actual problems.

My engineering philosophy: performance first, offline-ready, clean architecture, and real-time everything. I build alone when I have to, and lead teams when I can.

Founded YS DEV as an independent software engineering brand. Built and shipped multiple production-grade systems: SaaS POS, fintech platforms, AI-powered apps, and VTU services. Handled full-stack architecture, API design, UI/UX, and deployment.

2023 – 2024

Freelance Full Stack Developer

Independent

Delivered freelance projects across mobile (React Native) and web (React + Node.js), including client dashboards, API integrations, and mobile consumer apps. Built strong foundations in backend architecture and database design.

2022 – 2023

Self-Taught Developer

Personal Projects

Started with JavaScript and web fundamentals, rapidly progressing to React, Node.js, and eventually C++ and AI/ML with TensorFlow. Built game projects, learning tools, and early full-stack applications.
